Here’s a Freewrite/flow I did July 6th around 8:15; always go with the fresh wounds:

‘Dang’ is the word that pops up,

‘Again’– soon to follow

Have to swallow my pride again (echoes once more)

Before I go face deep/head first into wallow

Why is it always me?

Forever an afterthought

I make you my priority,

While i’m your fading hotts

Damn is what I cast on you

My spurn is soon to follow

I might seem impenetrable,

But my shell isn’t hallow

A heart beats all too fast

And is all too eager

To feel your indifferent hands

Even if your love is meager

An oxymoron within itself

It’s either all or nuthin’

I guess ill take the second hand

Instead of passing emotion

Just feed my need

Just level with me

Can I be the one you dote

Can I be untouchable

Can I be callous

Can I be your one truly

Can I be your prototype

Or the one to take up your time

Will you let me drive you crazy?
